Our Journey

Why RDT Was Created – The Journey Behind RDT Care Services

Roxanne McGann’s path to care did not begin in healthcare. Originally from Jamaica, she built a corporate career in New York before later moving to Maryland.

After her second son was born in 2011, Roxanne began looking for work with a stronger sense of purpose. She pursued nursing, and RDT Care Services LLC was established in 2023 with a focus on respectful, person-centered care at home.

Her experience later expanded across emergency care, geriatric care, assisted living, and private-home settings. She also worked as an Assisted Living Manager, Certified Nursing Assistant, and Medication Technician.

Those roles deepened her understanding of independence, safety, dignity, and the everyday realities families face when arranging care. That experience continues to shape how RDT supports clients today.

When I founded RDT Care Services LLC, I wanted to build more than a home care company. I wanted people to receive care with dignity, patience, respect, and genuine human attention.

Inviting someone into your home requires trust, and I never take that responsibility lightly. Every care plan represents a person, a family, and a story that deserves to be respected.

My goal is to keep RDT focused on dependable, person-centered care that supports independence, comfort, safety, and quality of life.
