Roxanne McGann founder and CEO of RDT Care Services LLC

My name is Roxanne McGann, founder and CEO of RDT Care Services LLC ®. Originally from Jamaica via New York, where I worked in the corporate sector, I now reside in Montgomery County, Maryland. After my second son was born in 2011, I returned to corporate life but found myself unfulfilled by desk work. This led me to pursue a nursing career, a path that resonated deeply with my innate desire to nurture and care for others.

My Nursing Career

My nursing career has brought me immense peace, satisfaction, and joy. In 2014, I transitioned from emergency care to geriatric care, a move that ignited a deep passion within me. I fondly refer to my elderly patients as “walking, talking historians,” as they’ve imparted invaluable life lessons far beyond anything I could learn from textbooks. For years, I served as an independent contractor in assisted living facilities and private homes, fulfilling roles as an Assisted Living Manager (ALM), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Medication Technician. This work resonated with my soul. Seeing my clients smile, receiving their heartfelt hugs, and hearing them call me “angel” filled me with a sense of gratitude that no paycheck could ever replicate. This profound experience ultimately led to the establishment of RDT Care Services LLC.
